For the LOVE of Charleston SC

I have been MIA (missing in action) due to a much needed vacation ion to see my one and only brother (and his new wife) in Charleston, S.C.  Chris (my bro) and I both went to the College of Charleston for college and LOVED every minute of it…he was smart and never left.  The pics are not edited since I’m still actually in Charleston, enjoy anyway!

College of Charleston

James, hubby, and I went down for a visit to help them tile there laundry room in the house they just bought!  They live in this adorable little neighborhood that not only is a sliver of what it would cost for us in the DC Metro area but it had all the components of a perfect area by my standards: lots of dogs, a running trail, restaurants in walking distance, the city 2 miles away away and the beach 10 miles away!  Seriously how much better can you get.

Here is there super cute little house and couple pics of the tile job:

My brother and his wifes 1st home!
Time to tile!

Very professional Chris!

After the tiling project we went to Edisto Beach for a few days…it was beautiful!
The boys (and girls) even got adventurous one day and tried skin boarding.  Yes most of us are in our mid to late 30’s and still acting like kids:-)
Skin bording here we come!

That’s all for now folks!  More picture of the trip and exciting news to come this week.

I love Charleston too! It’s one of my favorite places ever since I spent three wonderful weeks bunking at the CofC as a high school kid performing with my choir at the Spoleto Festival. Good luck to your bro and his wife, I’m sure they will make a nice home for themselves there!
