Colorful Monday – Scandinavian Pink

Good morning!

Today I am introducing you to Scandinavian Pink (Scan Pink).   If you have not played around with this color yet in our Chalk Paint™ decorative paint collection by Annie Sloan you should! Annie says is one of the traditional colors found in a lot of Swedish furniture.  She tends to use it as a color for interiors of cupboards and drawers.   You can see more on her website about this color as well as the full color line.

Scan pink is a nice salmon color and looks lovely mixed with old white or pure white to tone it down a bit.  If you would like to give it a little more of an “old world” look then apply dark wax over the clear wax.  Thinking more on the preppy side?  Do the exterior of a dresser in Antibes Green and the interior drawers in Scan pink, how fun for a little girls room.
