Colorful Monday – Coastal Blue

Mondays are usually painting and hauling furniture days and today was like no other….tons of painting.  Heather and I painted with General Finishes Milk Paint ( in a can) today for something different and LOVED it.  If you are looking for that sleek look GF works great! We played with Coastal Blue, Sea Gull Grey and using Van Dyke Glaze over Aubusson Blue Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan.  Boy did we have fun! Professional pics to be shared later this week!

Check out the BEFORE & AFTER on this great buffet / console / dresser

On the beautiful Aubusson blue console was the van dyke glaze brown or clear? It’s beautiful!! Wanting to achieve the same high gloss look on a dresser, but with the ease of the chalk paint instead of oil-based products.
