Falls Church native Kelly Millspaugh Thompson’s new store Stylish Patina is where vintage meets modern in home furnishings. Kelly’s flair for finding vintage and antique pieces and giving them new life on any budget is at the heart of her new shop.

Until now her innovative designs in transformed furniture could only be purchased at her monthly barn sales or on her internationally followed blog. That changes on March 1st, with the grand opening of a Stylish Patina retail store in Falls Church City at 410 S. Maple Ave in Pearson’s Square. For Kelly, this shop is a dream more than four years in the making. Her concepts center on the idea that home should be a comfortable place and design should be livable. Her offerings will include her signature mix of old and new furnishings, Annie Sloan chalk paints, home accessories and local handmade goods.

Her paints make even the most desperate pieces of furniture look fresh and new, all with the simple stroke of a brush.
